Book Description:
Positive guidance plays such an important role when it comes to boys on their journey to manhood. The purpose of this book is to give young boys insight and lessons on positive attitude and behavior that they can use on their journey to becoming men. Unfortunately, many boys receive little to no guidance from positive adult men. This fact inspired Brotha Anthony to design this book, in the hope that it serves as a reference for boys all over the world who may need it.
About the Author
Anthony Glover, known in his community simply as “Brotha Anthony,” is a Phoenix, AZ native. He has made his presence felt in his community through spoken word poetry, event hosting, community activism, and mentoring young men with the Phoenix organization Fight4Life No Excuses.
Brotha Anthony is also the founder of Useful Hands PHX, which provides hands-on skills training for teenage boys in multiple subjects, such as auto care, charcoal grilling, fishing and the use of various tools.
Desiring to find another unique way to connect with and guide younger boys on their journey to manhood, Brotha Anthony was inspired to create his first children’s book, I Can’t Wait to Be a Man!
